Drinking might be the perfect excuse to come to The Empire Hotel Gympie, but it’s our bistro that everyone is talking about.Understandable, really. Ours is a menu that is designed to deliver. Barra. Prawns. Steaks. Schnitzels. Our chefs seem to have mastered the art of producing dishes that satisfy. Wait. That’s an understatement… This is culinary art on a plate. There’s truth in the notion that we eat first with our eyes.

The freshest ingredients, cooked with heart and soul by perfectionists. The results are deftly assembled in a way that could reduce a grown man to tears. Our dishes are also renowned for their generous serves. They are even bigger on flavour. Order the gluten-free options; mouthwatering tastes remain undiminished. Thursday night is Tradies Night and that coincides with Parmy Night.

Our Menu

 
Our menu is practically a ‘Best Of’ list. Regular diners like to alternate between their personal favourites. The more adventurous ones cycle through all the selections on successive visits, then repeat the process.

While chef makes it tough to choose what to order, one thing is certain—our juicy steaks won’t be tough. Please talk to our staff first if your preference is for vegetarian or gluten-free. Our chefs will be happy to please. We’re proud to say disappointment is not an option.
